2007 US Grand Prix - Indianapolis

Mike and my family headed back to Indianapolis for the 2007 Formula One US Grand Prix race. We had skipped the prior year due to scheduling challenges. It was a good weekend, although VERY hot. Race results weren't what I was hoping for, but Kimi Raikkonen and Ferrari did win the driver's and constructor's championships at the last race in Brazil.

Sunday - Race

Race Day!! We had seats overlooking the pit lane, which kept us close to the action. Lewis Hamilton won the race (his second for his rookie season), Fernando Alonso came in second, and Felipe Massa was in third. Kimi Raikkonen came in forth, making it McLaren/Mercedes 1/2 and Ferrari 3/4. Frankly, the race wasn't full of a lot of action, but at least there were more than 6 cars on the track which happened in 2005.
